View Full Version : Zolob Spywarequake/Spywarefalcon and who knows ??

Problem started with warning from McAfee about zolob infection which 'I believe' has been successfully removed. Then received warning about spywarequake and after many hours thought I had removed it as well as instead of popping up within minutes of booting, it now can be 15 minutes or an hour or two. Tried all the usual remedies from Spybot S&D, roguescanfix, hikackthis, ewido, etc. Each time some indication of a problem and each time stating it was cleaned, but still the warnings continued to pop-up. just completed the extensive instructions found here on removing this and it has only been a matter of 15 minutes so not sure of success. Note that roguescanfix/bfu each time reported that it found, but could not remove the files "spywarequake*.*" and "spywarefalcon*.*" so I continued with all remaining steps any way and below are the requested logs.
