Critical error(blue screen error)

Every time I boot up it auto restarts when Windows is loading.
Then it says Windows have recovered from a critical error or something like that. Then the web page from Microsoft say "Your computer has recovered from a Blue screen error. This computer is from my cousin and she used to use bit torrent or something like that. But her things are delete except her account.
Is this "blue screen error" caused my a virus/maleware.

Which OS is computer using?
Is there an Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Firewall installed on a computer?

Anyway, I suspect that the computer is infected.

I agree with Tom.K. Either your computer is infected or the OS is corrupted.
