This started with an update a few months ago.

I have ran spybot in safe mode twice and it does not resolve this problem...

I appreciate the pointer and it almost helps but comes up short on telling us how to stop the problem.

(To add a problem to the single ignore list, simply right-click on it in the results list, and choose the appropriate menu item.)

does not tell us WHERE to do this or what to look for. I'm no SBSD expert but I looked in the Ignore Single Entries list and mine is empty (without a way to add anything)... and SchedLgU.txt does not appear in Ignore Products or Ignore System Internals.

How do I stop this problem?

Right click on result list and select "Exclude this detection from further searches". It should ignore the problem. Go to Settings > Ignore Single Entries. There should be an entry which contains SchedLgU.txt.

I was getting this problem during login since I auto-scan the system at night so I had no way to choose this to ignore. There needs to be a way to manually add items to Ignore :sad:

SO... without a manual scan it looks like this cannot be fixed.

The FAQ needs to be updated, even the help from members here was missing info and not clear... You all kept stating "Results List" -- no such thing labeled in S&D. Not a single person asked it it was a manual scan or automatic.

Mods... PLEASE update the FAQ to be very specific. State they need to do a manual scan from the "Search & Destroy" window and then look in the grid on that window (since that grid had no real label) and select the offending item to Ignore.

Feel free to use my screenshot in the FAQ.

I have made numerous manual scans and countless times have added these files to the ignore list. The exclusion never seems to persist, although I have not been able to identify why this occurs.

I am currently using version 1.6.0.31, with XP-SP3.

I recall having a (very) similar issue with an earlier version of Spybot that was resolved satisfactorily by adding the files to the exclude list.

At any rate, there seems to be an unresolved issue here. Since the files cannot be persistently excluded, I have to clear 2 popups after every scan and then again for every scan that occurred in between computer reboots.

Short of uninstalling spybot, is there a resolution to this issue?

It appears that you selected "Exclude this product from further searches". That selection adds an entry to "Ignore products" so that all entries under "Log" are ignored. If you select "Exclude this detection from further searches" then an entry is added to the "Ignore single entries" and only the scan for SchedLgU.Txt would be ignored.

If you believe that exclusions are not persisting, please start your own thread providing details, rather disrupt the resolution of the problem that Livin (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=29760) initially reported as repetitive deletion attempts for the file SchedLgU.Txt.

Although it appears that Livin (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=29760) is now attempting to exclude the detection, there is no indication that the exclusion failed or is not persistent.
