i tried visiting spysherrif.com and Spyaxe.com but when i tried it just said on mozilla.

Failed to Connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at spyaxe.com.

Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

anyone know why?

Well, it depends. If you have Spybot-Search&Destroy, then it would be actively blocking (or passively) blocking access to this site. The only reason Spybot would do that is to prevent access to the malicious site.

SpyAxe and SpySherrif are part of the SmitFraud family... notorious for their rogue, malicious software. In other words, they will be installing malware on your machine.

There is no point in going to that malicious (malware/viral infested) site, unless you are purposely infecting your system or just plain "do not know" of that site and what will happen.

SiteAdvisor Page Information for Spyaxe.com and Spysheriff.com:

And for spysherrif.com:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/spysherrif.com

From Spybot-S&D database:
SpyAxe info:
Nags the user to purchase. Registry keys, an executable program and a library remain in memory and harddisc when unistalled.

SpySheriff info: This malware pretends to be a valid antispyware solution. But it only exaggerates the results, and also shows intentional false positives to make the user pay for the full version, which is heavily advertised by the Smitfraud-C. malware. Usually a trial version of SpySheriff gets installed without user consent along with other malware like Smitfraud-C.
