My laptop (vista) has been infected my virtumonde.prx, virtumonde, and at one point virtumonde.dl(?). To get rid of this I used spybot, clicked fix this problem, then went to Recovery to purge...
But it kept apearing so I, in all of my ignorance, downloaded and installed Spyhunter...and now that is showing as malware too.
So here I am asking for you wonderful volunteers to help the computer inept me make my laptop virus free.
I shouldn't double post but scan found virtumonde has increased so yeah...

Disable Spybot's TeaTimer
Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode
If it is not already set to do this, go to the Mode menu
select
Advanced Mode
On the left hand side, click on Tools
Then click on the Resident icon in the list
Uncheck
Resident TeaTimer
and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer
