dude im not going to lie i have no idea what any of this means. im just a college student trying to get my computer to work and spy bot said that should post this on their site and eventually some genius :euro: would be able to analyze it and fix it for me.

im guessing they got my hopes up haha

Actually there are some geniuses who will assist you with your computer : ).

Then I was right about getting your hopes you.

What is the problem exactly with your computer? Malware/spyware problems?

Is Spybot detecting anything (provided with the latest updates/definitions).

yeah i ran spy bot and it said i had something called virumonde on it and it said if you cant get it off to go on to the spy bot forum and ask for help. I looked at some stuff and decided i should do the combo fix deal. so i did that and got the log report and was told to post it to someone who would know how to read it :). so thats pretty much where im at.

also upon startup i have like 5 windows pop up that says something like spy bot has a registry change:

category: system startup user entry
change:value deleted

Entry:TSClientAXDisabler

old data: then like a long list of random words

it gives me the option to accept change or deny it and i never know what to do and it wont give me any info on it

any ideas?

ps. i have avast anti virus, i dont know if thats important

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

I'm not sure what the AXDisabler entry meant...

Have you done anything with the prompt? Such as a Allow or Deny?

To cut the chase short, here are the instructions. FYI, you should not run ComoboFix without supervision. Especially if you do not know what you are doing...

Consider posting in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum and having someone take a look at your system.

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans and produce a HijackThis log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) ( http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288).

Good luck and welcome to SaferNetworking Forums. : D

Edit: avast! anti-virus is a robust, well-known software. It does detect spyware and some rookits. Did you run a scan with it and see what it detects?
