How is the computer running now?
You did post here for help, please slow down enough to read and follow the directions I post.
Uninstall list: I look for malware and security issues only.
Adobe Reader 7.0.5 <<< out of date and a security risk, hackers use out of date programs to infect you online.
http://www.filehippo.com/download_adobe_reader/
Java(TM) 6 Update 3 <<< out of date, see this information:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2.20 <<< uninstall the old program
No evidence of Virtumonde.dll in the MBAM report.
Post the HJT log I requested for a final look.
Thanks

I am sorry about that. When I ran Spybot it said that I had Virtumonde. I cleaned it and purged the file. Now on subsequent runs the program stops when it reaches the Virtumonde.dll (at the bottom of the screen) and states that I have to reboot the computer and run SB again. When I do it will reach the Virtumonde file and will stop again and say that I have to reboot and run again. So am a little confused about what is going on. Here is the fresh HJT report. Thank you again.

Are you sure you have removed the old version of Spybot S&D? I suggest you uninstall both versions of Spybot S&D and then download it fresh from here:
Spybot-S&D 1.6 has arrived! 8. July 2008
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/news/2008-07-08.html
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/index.html
Keep in mind the data base is much larger now than with older versions and the items you see at the bottom of the interface are not stuff Spybot is finding, but the items in the database. Once you do that, then look at this information and it all might not apply to your older Operating System.
http://www.malwareremoval.com/tutorials/runningslowly.php
http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/slowcomputer.html
MBAM is one of the better tools for finding Vundo and it is finding none. I would like you to update Kaspersky (one of the very best) and scan the system and let me know what it finds.
The computer is still running slow when doing online activities.
Right click MyComputer then click Properties. On the General tab in the lower right corner is the RAM, post that information.
Thanks

OK I have removed the old SB and installed the new one. It is still prompting me to reboot and rescan in the middle of the scan process. If nothing is there then I can live with that but it is odd, it has never done that before.
I have 261,616kb of ram which I am sure is not a lot. The KAV came up clean and here is the HJT report.
thanks

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback. TeaTimer was not running and it appears you started it? Please disable it until we are finished.
We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)
I have 261,616kb of ram which I am sure is not a lot.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_convert_KB_ram_to_GB_ram
It is still prompting me to reboot and rescan in the middle of the scan process.
I need to know exactly what is happening here, could you tell me what the message you receive from Spybot S&D when this happens is.
Beside this issue with Spybot, are you having any malware issues?
Let's do a little cleaning
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
These are resource wasters related to Alexa, if you don't use Alexa, remove them:
O9 - Extra button: Related - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINNT\web\related.htm (file missing)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Show &Related Links - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINNT\web\related.htm (file missing)
Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
Run Clean Manager

When I run SB and it gets to Virtumonde.dll a prompt comes up that states "I should reboot and scan again. If I want to do this hit yes and save all documents." I have to hit no several times before it goes away. I also disabled tea timer.
There are no other malware issues except for that. I have 256 mb of ram and here is a fresh HTJ report.

Before I have you post in the Spybot S&D forum, let see if combofix finds anything hidden from HJT.
1) Leave TeaTimer disabled.
2) A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix on your own. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
Tutorial
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
Remove any old copies of combofix before you proceed.
Thanks to sUBs and anyone else who helped with this fix.
It is important that it is saved directly to your Desktop.
Download ComboFix from Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
Post the combofix log and a new HJT log.
Thanks

Let me say that I DO NOT like having to open attached files on this infected computer? The instructions distinctly says:
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All logs should be copy/pasted into topic and not attached unless requested by helper in that format
I am having a hard time making sense out of this system, combofix removed a load of junk which shows in Other Deletions.
Look at the snapshot@Wed 2008-01-23_10.24.11.80? It shows everything in duplicate? I have no explanation for this.
Remove combofix from the computer like this:
Click START then RUN
Now type or copy Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z176/EPL47/CF_Cleanup.png
Make sure the computer is restarted after combofix is removed, then give me some feedback on how it is performing.
Thanks

Sorry, last time I was told to put it in a zip file. The machine runs pretty smooth nice now. Is there any thing else that you would recommend?
