Checking post cleaning

I've been asked to clean a co-worker's notebook after her significant other accidently clicked yes and infected them with the System Antivirus 2008 which I was able to clean via Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. I also had Norton Anti-Virus updated with the newest version. I just want to make sure I was able to get all virus/trojans/adware out of this notebook so can someone check this Hijack This log and let me know if I missed anything. Post this check, Spybot is being installed and set to automatically scan weekly for protection. I would like to make her happy by fixing his mistake.

I'll be glad to take a look and advise you, but first I need to point you to the instructions which are pinned (sticky) to the top of the forum and there for your benefit. The last time you posted you must not have read them or you would not have done this.

Posting additional comments or logs before a volunteer responds, can push you back instead of forward, because your thread ends up with a newer date. Also, helpers may think you are already being assisted because of the post count. The same applies to bumping, please don't.
Since all helpers are volunteers who help at multiple forums and have real lives and families to contend with, when we do have some time we look for topics with 0 responses and rarely have time to look beyond that.

So...after you took apart the engine, you brought me the car and want to know if you fixed it right...

I see a few leftovers that can be cleaned but would like to look at the last MBAM scan results. If you no longer have them, but still have MBAM onboard, follow these directions:

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply

We are not to this yet, and I will post suggestions from several experts, but I would suggest using Spybot S&D as a backup scanner and a good freeware scanner that scans in realtime like:

They have Norton Virusscan which I just updated for them and am configuring to run realtime and also do weekly scans. They already had SpyHunter but never had it fully configured, have configured it to run real time and also do weekly (actually setting to twice or three times a week) and adding SpyBot to supplement that one. In addition, Windows Defender has now been turned back on so that it will be working on this notebook.
