View Full Version : unable to turn on the Windows Automatic update

My system was/is infected with malware. I recently had a virus on my computer. I had an Vundo infection and was wondering if someone can help me. Now I am unable to turn on the Windows Automatic update. I get 1058 Error when i try to turn it on via services. Please get back to me with any information you may have.

Hi

Navigate into C:\Documents and Settings\Ted\Desktop\Unused Desktop folder and rename HijackThis.exe file -> whatever.exe. Post a fresh hjt log after renaming is done.
