Computer running so slow please HELP ME !!

Just experincing very slow, computer, takes 5 minutes to shut down, whole computer halts altogether sometimes, it appears disconnecting from the internet does help.

Seeing no malware in the HJT log. Start by deleting this item to be sure:
C:\Documents and Settings\Joe H\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{1A00FF39-2EC8-49BE-B34E-A851EEBA45F9}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Inbox.dbx Suspicious: Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.gen

In looking at your HJT log, you have a lot of running processes you may not need, you understand if you start them it takes time and uses resources and they have to be shutdown. I find shutdown is usually slower than start up. Let's start by looking at this information:

If you don't need them running, don't start them, they can always be started in Start > All Programs if a need should come up. I would not be concerned with Shutdown until you have more control of Startup. Once you do then look at this information.

Let's now do a little cleaning and have MBAM check for hidden malware.

1) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

2) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

3) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

*Cleaning Prefetch may result in a few slow starts until the folder is repopulated:

4) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file in your next reply.

5) Right click MyComputer then click Properties. On the General tab in the lower right corner is the RAM, post that information.

6) I would also like a look at your Uninstall list like this:
Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Recap: post the log from MBAM, the Uninstall list and your RAM count. Add any comments you think will help.

hey i have just installed malwarebytes now

I have few things i changed since i posted, I have got rid of old firewalls and anti-virus and i now have AVG Internet security which is my firewall/antivirus etc. i did a scan and that removed a few things. Which i think thats why i can't find the trojan file you said to get rid of?

That being the case, include a new HJT log with the MBAM log run after MBAM is complete.

Uninstall list. I look for malware and security issues and I will not know all of your programs, but you should.

*Hackers are using out of date programs to infect folks more and more, here is a small free tool that lets you know when something needs an update if you are interested:
https://psi.secunia.com/ While PSI runs in the System Tray for realtime notifications, I personally prefer to turn it off in MSConfig and run it from All Programs when I want to do a check.

I don't buy the fact that they offer an opportunity to install without sponsors, how many unsuspecting users take the time to read the EULA. You do what you want, I will just never support them and remove their junk every chance I get.
