View Full Version : Zlob.DNSChanger.Rtk won't go away

Hello,

I've been having issues getting rid of Zlob.DNSChanger.Rtk. Spybot picks it up and deletes it but, of course, it keeps coming back. I'm guessing this is what is causing Vimax ads to appear on nearly every website. From this and many other forums, it appears to be a custom fix. In addition, I have Vista so I am not comfortable attempting other people's XP fixes without a little guidance. If possible, can anyone please help me out with this? I've read and understand the instructions for this forum and I'm posting my HJT data below. Thanks so much in advance!

Please continue as follows:


Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic114351.html)
Remember to re-enable them afterwards.


Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.


When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
