frustrated user!

Hello everyone,

I am new to this so please excuse me for not using the 'jargon'. I am actually a teacher who has found myself with a huge problem with my home computer. Scans have detected malware, I have done windows defender (in safe mode), malicious software patch (in safe mode) as well as normal EZ scans everyday. The computer has been cleaned up but when I did the system scan via the windows website yesterday, it found 6 virus', and 450 registry issues , the scan took 7.5 hrs!

These are the ones that they could not remove and I am not sure what I can now do about it. I have now go a computer that barely works, freezes up and takes 15 mins to open one page. Any help would be most appreciated!

Malware:
Severe: trojan:/Win32?wantviI
virtool:Win32/obfuscator.CT

Moderate: Adware:Win32/NewDotNet
TrojanDownloader>Win32/Renos.gen!AQ

Med: BrowserModifier:Win32/OneStepSearch

Many thanks

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time. I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
The junk can be tough to remove, so do not expect fast or easy.

I usually avoid folks who don't read the directions but since you are frustrated, a teacher and new, I will make an exception and do what I can to help. Especially since I would not even be able to read this were it not for a teacher. As stated above, some of this junk is almost impossible to remove by conventional means and requires complex tools and methods. Posted above and pinned (sticky) to the top of this forum are the directions.

1) Read and follow those those directions.

2) Post the required HJT log:
Download Trend Micro Hijack This™ to your Desktop
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log.
Copy and paste the contents of the log in your next reply.

Thanks...Phil
