work offline while waiting for fix?

hello all,

i'm curious if it is ok to use my computer still while waiting for my turn to be helped in the malware removal forum. i am pretty sure that my problems are with the virtumonde.dll, and that seems to really bog down my online experience, but i am wondering if i can still use my 'puter offline.

at this point, i'm nervous to even turn the thing on!

Really not a bad idea to disconnect from the internet until we get you clean by unplugging the network cable.
