Virus response lab 2009

After successfully removing Virus Response Lab 2009 with Spybot I am left with a flashing icon on the taskbar that I cannot remove - any ideas.:sad:

Hi sorry for giving you false hope :oops: but I am in the same boat too.
I manualy deleted the folders containing Virus Response but still have the little shield flashing away and saying system error but when I click on it it just goes straight to the Virus Response web site.

Any clues anybody?

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans and produce a HijackThis log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) ( http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288).
After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from the above instructions.

There's already a post in the malware section about this problem, I just downloaded the Smith Micro and got that to fix it as the pages and pages computer info just baffle me:red:

Its done the trick as far as I can tell and the annoying little shield has gone away which is nice...

Btw is that Spy Vs Spy I used to love playing that many moons ago :cool:
