hi a couple of questions:
1. is there any way of manually adding to teatimer to prevent this damned irritating virus set executing in the first place? (i ask because so far it has got past my default teatimer setup twice now)
2. as part of it malicious job it replaces the real "beep.sys" with a fake one, so i am asking could i make beep.sys read only? will this stop the virus replacing it? and would being read only cause any problems to windows accessing it if necessary?
thanks in advance
