BRASTK.exe
Is there any program free or commercial that stops this virus for coming again !!
Spybot or Mcaffee didnt and, all two are uo to date.
This virus crippled Spybot and Mcafee at the same time.
Dont you think it is strange, even contradictory !!!!!!!!!!

There are infections programmed to disable security programs. BRASTK.exe is relativity new, first seen October 2008.
If Spybot-S&D does not detect or remove an item and one can find the files, we suggest people zip or rar them and send to: detections(AT)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)

i asked about this lat the end of october.
apparently they are working on it.
I did notice after last weeks update that another damned infection of brastk that i got at the end of the week failed to put itself in the startup because teatimer blocked it from doing so according to the logs. still doesnt stop it running but its a step in the right direction.

Helo.
I am using spybot since it had 15,000 items in its database.
Now it has around 280,000.
Lot of work is done and maybe too much.
But when disaster happens we forget everything.
This is human.
I had a ''zlob'' and a ''mundane smart something !'' and now ''brastk.exe''
For the first two i had to format after trying many procedures.
Now for ''brastk'', Mcafee gave me a hint and i got rid of it just now by using ''Malwarebytes''.
This had free my Spybot and Mcafee.
I am scanning now with another program to see if i have anymore malwares or else.
I will keep in touch with you..
