View Full Version : Network Trojan, Zlob.DNSChanger

Hi guys, im having a serious problem. Im on a home network with 6 other guys, 3 computers are windows XP, 3 are vista, and 1 mac. I noticed that some of the computers cant goto windows update, download anything from microsoft, sometimes searching in yahoo redirects you to yahoo's search page home. and we get random pop-ups also. Search and Destroy picks up this and after it fixes it, it just reapears:

Please note that all instructions given are customised for this computer only, the tools used may cause damage if used on a computer with different infections.

I would start by resetting your router to factory settings, there is a good chance that it has been altered.
Make sure you password protect it afterwards, to help prevent it happening again.


Download and Run RSIT

Please download Random's System Information Tool by random/random from here (http://images.malwareremoval.com/random/RSIT.exe) and save it to your desktop.
Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
Once it has finished, two logs will open:

log.txt will be opened maximized.
info.txt will be opened minimized.

Please post the contents of both log.txt and info.txt.
