Hello All,

My Internet Explorer is inoperative, and I have a feeling it's Virtumonde again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I have certainly screwed up now.

In trying to fix the computer, inadvertently deleted the lsass.exe file which i now know is vital to computer startup.

i know this is outside of this site's expertise, but any help would be appreciated. I made a bad situation much worse.

I have the windows xp disc, which will allow me to f8 or f12 to try to recover, etc.

The computer begins to start, but will boot. Screen simply stays black with cursor (movable) but never boots desktop.

Any help or suggestions on where to get help greatly appreciated!
