Problems after install

I installed Spybot SD trouble free, however after installation it does not run. I can see SpybotSD.exe in the list of running processes but no gui appears on screen.

My operating system is Windows XP home.

I know I have some form of malware on my PC as it is redirecting all the links from google to various websites.

I have used SpybotSD in the past with no problems, its a first on this PC and I'm not sure what the issue is with it running. i did search the forums but couldnt find anyone who has had this problem.

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans (excluding the Spybot scan since you can't get it run) and produce a HijackThis log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) ( http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288).
After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from the above instructions.
