I've been getting redirected to varies sites while using the internet and an AVG scan suggested I had the Look2me virus and Spybot found Zlob.DNSchanger.

I've tried removing both using anti-spy/malware and anitvirus programs but had no luck.

Formatting didn't either.

Anyway, here's my HJT log. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi

Do you connect to internet through a router? If you do please reset it to factory defaults and then change password to something stronger than the default one.

Yeah I do use a router.

I've reset it to factory settings and changed the password.

Good. Do you still get redirected after restoring factory defaults?

No I don't.

Thanks

Great :)

In that case it's time to make your system more secure.

recommended Firefox addons:
Adblock Plus (http://adblockplus.org/en/installation) and NoScript (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/722)

Good free antivirus programs are:
Antivir (http://free-av.com/en/download/1/download_avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html)
Avast! (http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html) and
AVG Free Antivirus (http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition)

For firewall I recommend either Online Armor Free (http://www.tallemu.com/free-firewall-protection-software.html) or Comodo Firewall Pro (http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/download_firewall.html#fw3.0) (If you choose Comodo: Uncheck during installation "Install Comodo SafeSurf..", Make Comodo my default search provider" and "Make Comodo Search my homepage" and install firewall ONLY!).

Also, it's recommeded that you get Internet Explorer 7 no matter if you use it or not alongside all available security updates for Windows.

I've installed the Firefox addons you recommended. I've also reinstalled McAfee. And IE7.

I'm going to look into those firewall apps you suggested too.

Thanks for the help.
