Please forgive me if this is not in the correct area, but I am fairly new to this forum. When I went to fix a problem after scanning, it would not let me do it because I am not an administrator. I am the one that loaded this program, therefore, I would think I would be the admin. How do I go into the settings to make me an admin?

What Windows OS are you running? If it is Windows Vista are you running Spybot with elevated administrative rights that are required by Windows Vista to perform many functions?
How can I get Administrator rights under Windows Vista?

I personally don't run Windows Vista. However, according to others who do, you can also permanently set Spybot to run with elevated administrative rights rather than have to right click start it each time by selecting "Run As administrator".

For example, if you are running Spybot from a desktop shortcut:

To make the "Run As Administrator" command Permenant right Click the Desktop Shortcut and go to: Properties => Application Compatibility => "Run As Administrator"
