install issues

Howdy,
I've had this issue the last 5 times I've installed Spybot.

After I've done the install, and start proceeding w/ the initial 7 steps (backup, updates etc...), after I download the updates, the Spybot install starts all over again.

If I proceed, I get an error that it's already installed, if I cancel, I end up w/ various errors once I start scanning.

Wondering what's up with this.

There are no error messages. What's occurring is that, once I start to run the updates after the initial/orig install, the program starts to install itself a second time.

If I cancel, it appears that I have both the orig. install, and possibly part of a second, or it's overwriting some of the files from the orig install on the second attempt.

The error messages are when I run a scan. I neglected to notate them, and I've uninstalled the app, so I'm unable to relay them now.
