problem updating

Installed spybot a couple of days ago and now am looking to download any updates. Spybot seems to be working fine,but will not update. I keep getting a "bad checksum" no matter which site I try to download from. I also get a "nonresponsive program" when I try to exit the update screen. I appreciate any help you guys can give !

Roland, what version of Spybot-Search&Destroy are you running? You can find this by going to Help>About.
