All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

First, please be advived that this is the malware removal forum, experts with the Spybot S&D program who can assist with those issues reside here: http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=4

Having said that, I can see issues in the log that may be causing those problems, so if you will read and follow directions, I will first try to make sure those are not what is causing the Spybot S&D issues.

Since the "Before you Post" instructions appear not to have been followed, we will start like this.

1) Properly position HijackThis:
Download Trend Micro Hijack This™ to your Desktop
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log. <<< close HJT until needed later

2) AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 <<< uninstall this out of date program
http://free.avg.com/download-avg-anti-spyware-and-anti-rootkit

3) ewido anti-malware <<< uninstall this obsolete program

4) Grisoft\AVGFREE <<< update this out of date program if you wish to run it.

When the above has been completed, post:

*A uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
(You may edit out Microsoft, Hotfixes, Security Update for Windows XP,
Update for Windows XP and Windows XP Hotfix to shorten the list)

I have tried to do what you listed but hit a wall when downloading AVG....

D:\downloads\avg_free_stf_en_8_173a1373.exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
spybot is still hanging at... [52481/342357 : Win32Agent.pz]

Any ideas??

Now you can take one look at that HJT log and tell it is not being posted right. The first log was posted right, just the directions were not followed.

I have never seen a log posted like that but it may be word wrap. I want you to take the time now to read these directions slowly and carefully:

Provide: The HJT log only.


Note: In notepad under Format, uncheck "Word Wrap" Produce all HJT logs like this, single spaced.
single-spaced - (of type or print) not having a blank space between lines.

It is preferable, and the log easier to read, if you do not use the [code] or [php] options.
Once you have turned WORD WRAP off in notepad then we will do one thing at a time, the first is to follow these directions:

Uninstall list: I look for malware and security issues and will not know all of your programs, but you should.

Hackers are using out of date programs to infect folks more and more,

While PSI runs in the System Tray for realtime notifications, I personally prefer to turn it off in MSConfig and run it from All Programs when I want to do a check.

This is not a realtime antivirus program but you may have trouble getting AVG 8 to install, you can give it a try. Make sure that program is turned off during the installion process.

Hi,
Im having problems deleting the programs .
I started with the J2SE and Java(TM) 6 Updates and then hit a wall with 2 files that wont delete. Also i now have a problem acessing the add or remove files program
I also downloaded spybot 1.6
Not sure where to go from here....any suggestions?

Not sure where to go from here....any suggestions?
You have a lot of issues with this computer, just the mess in the uninstall list shows that great care has not been taken of this computer. You might want to consider a reformat and start over.

A logfile will pop up. Please save it to a convenient location.

I don't really need the logfile, it should show you what was done.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

Computer is running fine now, although a little slow but i have not disabled the LinkScanner feature yet.
Will do this sometime this comming week....hopefully without destroying all your good work !

If you have not done so, clean System Restore files:
Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot

Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
