I did scan with the malware and there are over 40 infected files, but I do not know what to do about them please?
I saved report but it does not show up anywhere I can see! Where would it have saved the notepad to??

Click here (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe) to download HJTInstall.exe
Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
Click on Install.
It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT use the AnalyseThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

I put result below, but computer would not download Hijack this to the program file, it would only do a temporary folder for some reason.

You are not supposed to download it to C:\Program Files :)
Save HJTInstall.exe to desktop (right-click link; choose save as/save target as or to any folder where you can easily access it) and follow my previous instructions exactly.

Sorry that I do not understand these things. But your terminology defeats me: I do not understand the difference between the PMs you are saying NOT to use and the forums you mention and dont know how I go into the different (I presume) areas to do this - when I looked under the the heading Malware removal I thought that was where I was supposed to ask - and I asked about the Hijack download because it was, I thought, to do with the original problem I was having - sorry to be such an online beginner - I have never used a site like this before - as I am sure you can see - apologies again.
When I clicked the download of the Hijack button it asked me where I wanted to save it to and in the box it had suggested C:/ProgramFiles/Hijack... or browse, so I clicked the OK to download it there as I didnt know where else to download it to. The desktop icon is showing, but it opens nothing and tells me the shortcut is missing! Once again my ignorance sorry!
