block internet connection for a program

a friend of mine tolde me that it is possible to block internet access for a certain program with spybot, but i cant figure out how this works...can someone help me???

I am not aware of any facility within Spybot that blocks internet access for particular programs. Perhaps you should ask your friend.

Blocking internet access to or from programs is usually handled by a firewall.
