Need to check everything...

My father is a fool when it comes to the computer. He hides certain "files" he downloads and thinks I'm the reason our computer gets viruses and such. Ahem, he is the one who downloads Limewire songs that have no times and don't play.

The computer has been acting odd for a while now. For months, though I've tried everything I could think of, Spybot has crashed at the end of every scan. I've uninstalled and re-installed, but to no avail. Other programs don't seem to work, either. My parents are also having some issues with reading their e-mails on our ISP's e-mail page, unless they wait a time.

There are multiple things that are making me wonder what could be wrong with our computer, but we've no way to find out with Spybot out of commission and the fact that it conflicts with other Spyware programs.

Disable Spybot's TeaTimer to make sure it won't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode
If it is not already set to do this, go to the Mode menu
select
Advanced Mode

On the left hand side, click on Tools
Then click on the Resident icon in the list
Uncheck
Resident TeaTimer
and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer

Download ResetTeaTimer.bat to the Desktop
http://downloads.subratam.org/ResetTeaTimer.bat
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).


Start hjt, do a system scan, check (if found):

A few problems before I post the scan results:

--- When I go to download ResetTeaTimer.bat, it shows nothing but html and text.
--- After one of the downloads or removals, something occurred that ruined my ability to view some sites properly. I.E. MySpace...all of the text is changed, the images are messed up, javascript won't work on some pages. It's very noticable.

I may try to do a Kaspersky scan later, but when it was 35k out of 38k, it started going at a speed of about 1 kb per 15 seconds...not sure why, nothing else was running.

I can't see any part of given instructions causing that. Have you done some other fixes than those I posted in previous reply? Any screenshot available that shows how the site appears wrong?
