I ran the S&D with the latest updates. Unfortunately, it did not detect ShopAtHome. I never installed ShopAtHome. It just appeared. The spyware does not have an uninstall available, and the company has not returned my increasingly angry emails. The spyware redirects my browser to add their referral ID to all of my online store browsing. If I purchase anything, they will get their referral fee. For example, I type www.Dell.com and hit Enter. Then, in my address bar, a long address appears with a referral ID tacked on the end.
How can I permanently get rid of the ShopAtHome spyware? I noticed that a user named "Dominus" posted a "ShopAtHome Spyware" thread in 2005. S&D should be able to find and eliminate this annoying spyware by now.
