I've been using ace explorer for about five years now... it just seems to run smoothly compared to IE, firefox, avant and opera

I don't see it listed in the compatibility list, yet it seems like it works well...

I use xp home sp3 with CA security suite on two desktops and vista with CA on a laptop

I also run free windows registry repair and glary utilities about once a week
I also run bfu with alcanshorty once every six months or so

any opinions/insight?
:)

I'm not so familiar with Ace Explorer because I have not used it before. It seems to put a lot of emphasis on being spyware-free and not invading user's privacy.

Download.com's Ace Explorer has not been updated in years, so I can't be sure what the latest version is. Ace Explorer's interface is similar to IE, so it may give a IE "environment"..

Just becareful with registry cleaners.
