Redirect problems/blocking updates etc. [Archive]

Hello,
I am having a number of problems, I am having the redirect problems from search in yahoo and google, and it seems to be getting worse and worse. I have used spybot and also malwarebytes, but it just keeps coming back.

Also, I cannot access Kapersky, Microsoft Defender updates, Windows updates, and many other things I have tried, it is almost like the fixes to this are blocked.

Unfortunately your company doesn't look very small to me.

So I am afraid that you need to ask for local IT help. If you have
Spybot S&D Corporate-Small Business Edition, you can mail for support.

No problem.

Our IT department is only 2 people(downsizing in this economy), and they are 500 miles away. They always have me do my own work. I am checking with them to see what they say, and if we do have some kind of corporate license, which I doubt. We should however, this is a very helpful tool and forum, and as a last resort I will probably go through the posts/threads and try to apply fixes on my own, I guess. I suspect to help me, they will probably just do the same thing.

I just checked our corporate IT site, and they have three programs they want us to download and use on our own:
spybot
malwarebytes
Trojan Remover

Given this, is there any way you could help me?

Like said here (http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=25712&postcount=5), we volunteer helpers in this particular forum assist home users. If there is a corporate/small business version of Spybot, you will need to contact office via email.

I hope that your problem gets solved.
