Browser Hijacked, Spybot won't run.....

Most websites will load, others come up as not connected to internet. (www.majorgeeks.com, www.avg.com, www.spybot.info.com to name a few that say I am not connected to the internet when I am.) When I GOOGLE something, results show fine until I click on the findings, then I am taken to a host of other sites. Spybot Search and Destroy is installed but will not load so I am unable to stop teatimer. Lavasoft's AdAware will work but won't update. AVG Free 8.0 will work but also will not update. Both say that I am not connected to the internet and both say my computer is clean. I am on my backup computer now so I can access this forum. McAfee was installed on the computer but was deleted long ago.

Download the following to the clean computer, and transfer them to the infected machine before using them.

Random's System Information Tool by random/random from here (http://images.malwareremoval.com/random/RSIT.exe)
Download a copy of Combofix from one of the links below
ComboFix.exe 1 (http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe)
ComboFix.exe 2 (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
ComboFix.exe 3 (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)

On the infected machine

Run RSIT

Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
Once it has finished, two logs will open:

log.txt will be opened maximized.
info.txt will be opened minimized.

Please post the contents of both log.txt and info.txt.




Run ComboFix (by sUBs)
Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix on your own.
This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
