The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Deskwizz" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "Win2.exe" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\Win2.exe".
Entries named "whCC-CLICK.exe" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\whCC-CLICK.exe".

Important: There are more autorun entries that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "{70883937-61A2-FFDF-F1F6-C8E81C701B87}".
Products that have a key or property named "{17D11C4C-A70F-CD05-621A-8A2278497A17}".
Products that have a key or property named "DH".

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

A file with an unknown location named "wallpap.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\wallpap.exe".
The file at "c:\sk02.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "sk02.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\win.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\newfrn.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\DH.dll_".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\dh.ini".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\DHU.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\WinDy.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "WinDy.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\DH.dll".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\offnm.ini".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\isf.dat".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\wocnm.dat".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\cmnquery.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\comuid32.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\confmsp6.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\cryptnet.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\DH.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\Win2.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\whCC-CLICK.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "Win2.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "win.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Deskwizz uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{C5AF2622-8C75-4dfb-9693-23AB7686A456}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{C5AF2622-8C75-4dfb-9693-23AB7686A456}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "DH" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\".
Delete the registry key "{6001CDF7-6F45-471b-A203-0225615E35A7}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{6001CDF7-6F45-471b-A203-0225615E35A7}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
If Deskwizz uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
