The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.VirusResponseLab2009" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Fraud.VirusResponseLab2009 pretends to be a security software. When it is installed on the computer it shows a lot of harmless cookies, browser helper objects and autorun entries as high risk spyware problems installed by itself. When the user wants to fix these intended false positives he has to purchase a license. It also shows popups with warnings that the computer is attacked by a backdoor trojan.
Removal Instructions:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "VirRL2009" and pointing to "*".
Entries named "VirusResponseLab2009" and pointing to "*".
Entries named "VirusRL2009" and pointing to "*".
Entries named "VirusRL2009" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\VirusRL2009\VirusRL2009.exe".
Entries named "wblogon" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\algg.exe".
Entries named "VResLab" and pointing to "*".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "VirRL2009".

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\VirusRL2009\VirusRL2009.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\algg.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Applications\iebr.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ntload.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\sex1.ico.tmp".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\sex2.ico.tmp".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\update32.exe.tmp".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\winupdate.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\wscmp.dll.tmp".
The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Uncensored porn.url".
The file at "<$DESKTOP>\BDSM galleries.url".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.VirusResponseLab2009 uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.VirusResponseLab2009 uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "VirRLWarning.WarningBHO", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "VirRLWarning.WarningBHO.1", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "VirRL2009" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
Delete the registry key "{A81EBFD7-0FA3-41ec-B60D-6DAE78B4D31A}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
