The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "KeenValue.eUniverse.MyFreeCursors" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

Shortcuts that include "MyFreeCursors\Uninst.exe" in the target they point to.

Start Menu:

Please remove the following items from your start menu.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.

Groups named "MyFreeCursors".

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "updater" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\updater\wupdater.exe".
Entries named "KeenValue".
Entries named or pointing to "KeenValue.lnk".
Entries named or pointing to "KeenValue\keenvalue.exe".
Entries pointing to "KeenValue\KeenValue.exe".
Entries pointing to "\Updater\wupdater.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "MyFreeCursors".
Products that have a key or property named "KeenValue".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "c:\updaterInstall_112.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\keenvalue.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\KeenValueLog.txt".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\killkeenvalue.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\kv001.dat".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\KV002.dat".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common files\KeenValue\SendUninstallInfo.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\CQX\freecur_bbi8015.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\CQX\keen_value_installer.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\CQX\NLNP48.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors\eSetCursor.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors\flagsphere.ani".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors\flagsphere.cur".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors\README - Uninstalling Custom Cursors.txt".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors\Uninst.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\rules.dat".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If KeenValue.eUniverse.MyFreeCursors uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Common Files\KeenValue".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\CQX".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyFreeCursors".

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "KeenValue" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\".
Delete the registry key "{03FDE7EA-C8C4-413F-BEA1-F8C1B8B39EA6}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
If KeenValue.eUniverse.MyFreeCursors uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
