The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Look2Me" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Look2Me variants include browserhijacking, popup-advertising, and trojan-downloading.

Filenames are changed frequently to avoid detection.

Normally Look2Me is installed without user consent.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries pointing to "6yo4svc.dll".
Entries pointing to "aqledit.dll".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "c:\warebundlenewer.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\6yo4svc.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\aqledit.dll".
A file with an unknown location named "msg118.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\3dsdpi.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\msg{5F5F1A20-0988-11D8-B441-C0A05DC10000}0112.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\msg{D2AAABE0-06D9-11D8-A5EB-000C294A4AFA}0112.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\msg{F94B2D00-F2A8-11D7-A5EB-000C294A4AFA}0111.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\NO.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Look2Me uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "IPConfTSP" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\".
Delete the registry key "SideBySide" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\".
Delete the registry key "{331066C5-B96A-45CC-967D-C516740B99AC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{E6307D46-A0E3-4908-B1CC-7DF80978F01C}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{331066C5-B96A-45CC-967D-C516740B99AC}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved\".
Delete the registry value "{E6307D46-A0E3-4908-B1CC-7DF80978F01C}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved\".
Delete the registry key "Look2Me" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "{DDFFA75A-E81D-4454-89FC-B9FD0631E726}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{5F5F1A20-0988-11D8-B441-C0A05DC10000}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\".
Delete the registry value "{D2AAABE0-06D9-11D8-A5EB-000C294A4AFA}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\".
Delete the registry value "{F94B2D00-F2A8-11D7-A5EB-000C294A4AFA}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\".
If Look2Me uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
