The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "MalwareDestructor" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
MalwareDestructor claims to be a solution against all kinds of malware and spyware. When the user starts a scan, it finds some harmless files and registry entries as high risk problems and if the user wants to fix these false positives detected by MalwareDestructor he has to purchase a license. MalwareDestructor is nearly the same application as ExpertAntivirus.
Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Important: There are more desktop links that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Start Menu:

Important: There are more start menu items that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "MalwareDestructor" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\MalwareDestructor.exe*".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "MalwareDestructor".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\MalAntiSpam.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\MalwareDestructor.EXE".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\MalwareDestructor.log".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\MalwareDestructor.url".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\settings.ini".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\whitelist.lst".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\DesktopManager\DesktopManager.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\StartupEditor\StartupEditor.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If MalwareDestructor uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\DesktopManager".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Quarantine".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\StartupEditor\Languages".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\StartupEditor".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor\Plugins\DesktopManager\Languages".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MalwareDestructor".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMS>\MalwareDestructor".

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "ExpertAntivirus.Addin.1" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\".
Delete the registry key "MalWareDestruct.EXE" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "{D0367D41-1C19-4e98-8F5D-006213C5B1BB}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{4ED5E198-E576-4676-93B8-2C401D1A67D0}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "MalWareDestruct.Server", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "MalWareDestruct.Server.1", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{F8FF4547-4FA4-4FEA-B689-7190C2A40364}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "MalwareDestructor" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
Delete the registry key "MalwareDestructor" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
If MalwareDestructor uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
