The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "RapidAntivirus" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

This fake Antivirus software gets installed by trojan horses. It causes fake messages and urges the user to buy useless software.
Removal Instructions:
Desktop:
Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
Shortcuts named "Rapid Antivirus.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Rapid Antivirus\Rapid Antivirus.exe".
Shortcuts named "Rapid Antivirus.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Rapid Antivirus\*.exe".
Start Menu:
Please remove the following items from your start menu.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
Items named "Purchase License.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Rapid Antivirus\Buy.url".
Items named "Start Rapid Antivirus.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Rapid Antivirus\Rapid Antivirus.exe".
