there is no list in black and white list in tea timer. i have the four keys saying "Allowed processes,Blocked Processes,Allowed Registry Changes,Blocked Registry Changes" but thats it. in "s&d/mode/advance mode/tools/resident", there is a list there showing me what hjas been denied. how do i get black list to work so i can allow some items that have been denied ?

Items only appear in the black and white list in tea timer if you checkmark Remember This Decision when prompted to allow or deny the change by Teatimer, did you checkmark that when allowing or denying anything?

ill have to say no, because i had a problem reading the pop ups. i went inside tea time as it said in one of the post and fixed it with reshacker. everything i was clicking on before the fix came up denied(i was trying to guess at it, lol). now im trying to go back and correct the changes that were made.

Teatimer should ask you to Allow or Deny the change again,if it encounters the things you denied again,so long as you didn't checkmark remember this decision.

im afraid that was the one part i could read and i did checkmark remember this decision:(

Did you click on each of the four keys up top (Allowed processes,Blocked Processes,Allowed Registry Changes,Blocked Registry Changes),and see if there are any entries under each one of them?
(You probably have, but I'd just like to be sure.) :)

right clicked on Spybot-S&D Resident/setting. screen comes up with "Allowed processes,Blocked Processes,Allowed Registry Changes,Blocked Registry Changes". nothing under these square 4 buttons. just a big empty white space. when i hold my pointer over the icon (Spybot-S&D Resident) on my taskbar thats in the same place as my time & date, it says Spybot-S&D Resident 1173 processes blacklisted. thats as detailed as i can get on this

If you do not have entries in the following tabs within TeaTimer's "White & Black List":
Allowed registry changes
Blocked registry changes
Than all changes to the portions of the system registry monitored by TeaTimer should issue a pup-up dialog the must be answered before receiving messages notification messages. If there are entries in the "White & Black List" than TeaTimer will just issue messages like the ones in the attached thumbnail.

Editing TeaTimer's "White & Black List" will only make TeaTimer forget what you told it to remember when you checked the "Remember this decision" option during a change. The actual actions take by TeaTimer based on your selecting the "Allow change" or "Deny change" buttons (or closing the registry change popup dialog without answering which results in a "Deny change") are irreversible. You have to redo whatever you were doing so that the Registry change is done again (or manually edit the Registry) in order to reverse the actions you took.

how do i get black list to work so i can allow some items that have been denied ?
With all that said, are you asking how to reverse what you did rather than just remove a "Remember this decision" so that TeaTimer issues a pop-up dialog for the next similar change?

************

If you go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Tools > Resident, the listing shows what actions you took using TeaTimer.

From this question, I don't think that we are on the same page.

anyone know where the blocked processes are located in the registry for b/w list or is it in the programs registry thats being blocked ?
What do think is being blocked? From the Resident log, what registry changes were denied?

no worroies, i unistalled the program. it was a malware program that i really didnt need anyway. i understood that in order to have a list in b/w i had to put a checkmark in the box on the pop ups and make a decision on whether to deny it or allow it. my problem was i coundnt understand the pop ups and i made no checkmarks and everything came up denied when i would click on the pop up, so there was no list in b/w. the things i denied related to the malware i had just downloaded. maybe this isnt what you are talking about but it all over for that program now. its deleted and no more worries. sorry for any misunderstanding and thanks for the help outs.

There is currently a bug in TeaTimer 1.4. Portions of TeaTimer's popup dialog overlay the "Allow change" and "Deny change" buttons. On my system the very top edges of the "Allow change" button (on the left) and "Deny change" button (on the right) are showing and I am still able to select the options. I also can check "Remember this decision" since it is visible. If no portion of the "Allow change" and "Deny change" buttons are showing, you can answer TeaTimer's popup dialog (English language version) by pressing "A" on your keyboard for "Allow change" or "D" for "Deny change". Note: If you close the dialog without answering "Allow change" or "Deny change" the registry change is denied.

If you can't deal with the problem that way until it is fixed, you can:
Apply one of the workarounds found in the following pinned (Sticky) thread that fixes the pop-up dialog so the buttons are visible:
Solution to fix the pop-ups in TeaTimer
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=122

There are four (4) fixes published in that thread. They are:

The ResHacker fix published by ElPiedra (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=128) here:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=423&postcount=1
The murdo (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=440) patch published here:

The patch originally by SyreneD (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=1735) that I published here:

Also republished by SyreneD (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=1735) himself here:

Or the most resent patch published by RuggeR29 (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=7292) (which I have never tried) here:

Disable TeaTimer as follows:
Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
Uncheck the following:Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

if i understand the posts...if none of the four possibilities show up when you tic the appropriate button while trying to edit a list ... you have to go to the system (windows) registry and regedit
i learned yesterday that uninstalling spybot then downloading/installing the program does not allow a "second chance" the problem just gets incorporated in the newly downloaded/installed spybot again?

if i knew more i'd not be so dumb!
