The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "BeastDo.Pztrain" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
This trojan installs itself to system folder and renames itself to expl0rer.exe, adds itself to systemstart and runs itself.
Also, it copies a fake pztrain.exe into system folder and a sp00lsv.exe.

Supposed Functionality:
According to the filename it is supposed to be a trainer for the game GTA San Andreas but it is not.

real pztrain.exe for GTA San Andreas: pztrain.exe,filesize=71949,md5=5C23599094FCCBA31C0E597FA8A48824

fake: pztrain.exe, filesize=206294,md5=4CE711FD192961CEE4B659E444D09E24
fake 2: pztrain.exe, filesize=72150,md5=EF431F7267CFAD46FD52455B41802E20 location is in Systemdirectory
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "EXPLORER" and pointing to "EXPL0RER.EXE".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$SYSDIR>\expl0rer.EXE".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\pztrain.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\so00lsv.EXE".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\mydll.dll".
A file with an unknown location named "pztrain.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "expl0rer.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If BeastDo.Pztrain uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!
