The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "IRCBot.svchost" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
This trojan horse installs itself in background and pretends to be a system file. It runs in background and connects to malicious IRC channels to receive commands to harm the users computer or use the users computer for a botnet.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "eMessenger" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\emsn.exe".
Entries named "Network maneger" and pointing to "<$WINDIR>\system\svchost.exe".
Entries named "qiiq".
Entries named "services32" and pointing to "<$COMMONPROGRAMFILES>\Windows\mc-110-12-0000228.exe".
Entries named "Windows Networking Monitoring" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\mdm.exe".
Entries named "Upload Noun".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$SYSDIR>\emsn.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\system\svchost.exe".
The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMFILES>\qiiq\qiiqm.exe".
The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMFILES>\Windows\mc-110-12-0000228.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If IRCBot.svchost uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

The directory at "<$COMMONPROGRAMFILES>\qiiq".
