Description:
Win32.Agent.bid copies an executable file into Windows directory, starts itself via autorun as "Firewall auto setup" without giving the user a possibility to cancel that process. Also blocks some buttons in applications (e.g. 3 main buttons in SpyBot).
Removal Instructions:
Autorun:
Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
Entries named "Firewall auto setup" and pointing to "*\Temp\winlogon.exe".
Entries named "startdrv" and pointing to "<$WINDIR>\Temp\startdrv.exe".
Files:
Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\winlogon.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\DefLib.sys".
