The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Zlob.Downloader.vdt" manually.

You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Zlob.Downloader.vdt uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{EFAF6EA3-615D-4F83-8748-2F7A576FCEA6}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{EFAF6EA3-615D-4F83-8748-2F7A576FCEA6}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\multimediaPl.chl\".
Delete the registry key "{70CC76D5-A4EE-4F25-9931-B109A63E298E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{70CC76D5-A4EE-4F25-9931-B109A63E298E}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "{6CA49FDD-4AEB-4F08-A394-C0A1F82CAA16}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{6CA49FDD-4AEB-4F08-A394-C0A1F82CAA16}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "{062F3F8B-CB94-4D76-A98A-EF800A438F01}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{062F3F8B-CB94-4D76-A98A-EF800A438F01}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "{23ED2206-856D-461A-BBCF-1C2466AC5AE3}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "{23ED2206-856D-461A-BBCF-1C2466AC5AE3}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "Video Add-on" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video Add-on" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Internet Security\".
Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video Add-on" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Protection Tools\".
Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video Add-on" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Security Tools\".
Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video Add-on" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Online Add-on\".
Delete the registry key "Video Add-on Setup" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video Add-on Setup" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Internet Security\".
