The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "BrowserAid.FeaturesResults" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
Entries pointing to "MSIEFR40.DLL,DllRunServer".
Files:
Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\MSIEFR40.DLL".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\SYSTEM\msiefr40.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If BrowserAid.FeaturesResults uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!
Registry:
You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "Bho.FeaturedResultsBHO", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "bho.FResultsRequest", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "bho.FResultsRequestDispatcher", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{0DDBB570-0396-44C9-986A-8F6F61A51C2F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{606220AE-90E0-41CA-BF6D-C89272ED680C}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{DBD7AAA2-1725-4663-8C8B-52A840693469}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{4B0FCEB7-8163-46EE-9EAF-85BD933D0A46}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{670801FD-C247-4E44-9424-69E5D77C6725}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{E58F4168-608C-45C2-9BFF-061229730B2E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{EE06D877-386F-4A44-A9ED-75EB6C3E7E80}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{EE06D877-386F-4A44-A9ED-75EB6C3E7E81}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{BA87B15B-7DE7-4DA4-8BF7-5C616D6C99DA}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{0DDBB570-0396-44C9-986A-8F6F61A51C2F}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "Features Results" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\".
