The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "GigaTech SuperBar" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Why a account/password/form filling utility? It has been long ago integrated into IE.

Fills in names, passwords and form data. Enhanced search functions for IE.

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries pointing to "SuperBar\sbhc.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "SuperBar IE Plugin".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Superbar\Superbar.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SuperBar\sbhc.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If GigaTech SuperBar uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SuperBar.Component", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SuperBarBHO.Component", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SuperBarExts.SaveDataInterface", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SuperBarExts.ToolTipInterface", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SuperBarExts.UserProfileInterface", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{136A9D1D-1F4B-43D4-8359-6F2382449255}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{136A9D1D-1F4B-43D4-8359-6F2382449255}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{745AE54A-CF0A-4BC7-9D19-A9E15A98E6ED}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{D7F2FD62-6C1B-4B52-85B1-F65A414BF050}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{E5DFB380-3988-4C07-8AFB-8A47769D9DB5}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{FF75AD60-20C4-11D7-A4EE-00E0299AC815}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{60F8FB2A-9915-4202-967D-1FA694A8BCF5}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Typelib\".
Delete the registry value "{1548C55C-B1E7-483F-973D-11C58AD44D4A}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
