The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "VX2.h.ABetterInternet" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
A BHO is installed without user consent to find out about the user's interests while he/she is surfing. An autorun entry is created in order to run spyware files at system startup. The files are running in background.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "Belt".
Entries pointing to "belt.exe".
Entries pointing to "susp.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "localNRD".
Products that have a key or property named "Dbi".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$WINDIR>\Biprep.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\localNRD.dll".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\inf\addremln.inf".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\preInsln.exe".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ARCG.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\bi.dll".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\BI.DLL".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\BIPREP.EXE".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\INF\BI.INF".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\BI.cab".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\bi.dll".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\bi.inf".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\biprep.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\bw.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\null.rgn".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\BELT.EXE".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\bdl14173.exe".
The file at "<$WINDIR>\Temp\better.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "better.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "bdl14173.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If VX2.h.ABetterInternet uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "BiDll.BiDllObj.1", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{000006B1-19B5-414A-849F-2A3C64AE6939}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{000006B1-19B5-414A-849F-2A3C64AE6939}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{30000273-8230-4DD4-BE4F-6889D1E74167}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
Delete the registry value "{60FA7AA0-0717-11D8-A5EB-000C294A4AFA}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\".
Delete the registry value "{DDFFA75A-E81D-4454-89FC-B9FD0631E726}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved\".
