The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "VX2.NetPal" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Installation completes without showing any EULA/Privacy Policy. There is no option to cancel the installation nor to uninstall after installation. VX2.NetPal registers itself as a browser helper object for the Internet Explorer but does not show itself. If the Internet Explorer connects to the internet, the "toolbar" connects to fixed ip to retrieve data from there.

Removal Instructions:

Files:

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{6085FB5B-C281-4B9C-8E5D-D2792EA30D2F}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\".
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "NetPalIExplore.NetPal", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "NetPalIExplore.NetPal.1", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{984654D4-AE5D-40F8-98B3-F018C2D39BCE}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
If VX2.NetPal uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
