The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Xuron55" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
once iasnap850w.exe is executed it connects to a dynamically created URL and runs a php-script there to download
-first.awp
-second.awp

the files contain several dlls which get copied to system directory and get registered

ClassID appears to be random
filenames are random

creates weblink on desktop pointing to Captain Morgans Casino



Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

A file with an unknown location named "iasnap850w.exe".
A file with an unknown location named "first.awp".
A file with an unknown location named "main.cfg".
A file with an unknown location named "second.awp".
A file with an unknown location named "initial.cfg".
The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Captain Morgans Casino.url".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Xuron55 uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{D3D52097-9ACC-4CC6-979F-6AA484620955}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "{D3D52097-9ACC-4CC6-979F-6AA484620955}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry value "AppInit_Dlls" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\".
Delete the registry key "{B02E4F1E-D06E-4FBB-B9D2-15E8C08E4836}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "{B02E4F1E-D06E-4FBB-B9D2-15E8C08E4836}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{B848D01B-8621-44EF-BBB3-6022DEA8EF67}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "{B848D01B-8621-44EF-BBB3-6022DEA8EF67}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{0AD530CE-EB31-4B5B-AB70-D896A9725C26}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "{0AD530CE-EB31-4B5B-AB70-D896A9725C26}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
If Xuron55 uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).

INI files:

The following .ini file entries may need corrections. You can open this files in Notepad or any other text editor.

Please remove entry "initdata" from section "WIN 3.11 mail" in file "<$WINDIR>\win.ini".
