Slow loading pages

Hi, over the past week my internet explorer browser seems to be loading a whole lot slower on some pages often needing refreshing to complete. I'm using XP pro, AVG anti-virus, Spyware Blaster and Spybot search and destroy protecting my system from malware. Please help!
