The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "E-Ventures N.V.FWNToolbar" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
The toolbar is installed via a downloaded executable file with random name. It connects to findwhatevernow.com, a highly suspicious searchsite. Further, there are many popups displaying advertising messages and/or links to other sites displaying more ads.

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "FWN Toolbar".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FWN Toolbar\INSTALL.LOG".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\FWNToolbar.dll".
A file with an unknown location named "FWNToolbar.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\AcsProxy.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\AcsProxy.lib".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\FWNToolbar.dll.manifest".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If E-Ventures N.V.FWNToolbar uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{3D0BDAB3-12F4-471C-8966-E35A2C6C7DE7}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{BCAA3A19-1051-4C2F-88B9-4D05985AA2C6}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "FWN.FWNToolbar", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{3DBBF8B7-A97C-4A92-8D27-D29222E6B60F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{EA9D65A3-8FA2-433E-9CAF-68C6E43555AF}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{0E9DB3AB-D16A-47CF-B59A-F74D649BEA5B}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry value "{3D0BDAB3-12F4-471C-8966-E35A2C6C7DE7}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
Delete the registry key "{3D156636-3F7E-46C9-9AC1-5E4D8202AA23}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "FWN.ISubclass", plus associated values.
Delete the registry value "{3D0BDAB3-12F4-471C-8966-E35A2C6C7DE7}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved\".
If E-Ventures N.V.FWNToolbar uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
