The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "NewWeb" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
If NewWeb is installed on the system the user will get a lot of unwanted popups and advertising when he is surfing the web. NewWeb runs in a hidden mode in the background of the system and there is no normal way to uninstall the application.
Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$SYSDIR>\AdvSC.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\AdvSC32.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\AdvSC64.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If NewWeb uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{35A69597-0E2A-4100-A394-C6F6FC2535B9}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "SCIntruder.DLL" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "{0D8CA512-282E-4E3F-8970-F5EE879AF7FC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{566CB5F7-D9FA-4B01-8A1A-168F706CBE41}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{86DC8694-AACC-4CE6-B8EC-A75DEEDA698D}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{9ACEEE30-143F-471A-AA45-72B061FE7D60}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{C5668031-4BDE-43D4-8766-8E9AAC16C56E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{DED96F80-2B97-407C-8E09-D7233448753F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{5CD75223-E010-4BE9-9027-7A53533EA4F6}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{9ACEEE30-143F-471A-AA45-72B061FE7D60}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "SCIntruder" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "NewWebController.Intruder", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "NewWebController.Intruder.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.DocumentEventsHandler", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.DocumentEventsHandler.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Magazines", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Magazines.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Service", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Service.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Settings", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "SCIntruder.Settings.1", plus associated values.
